SEEING YOUR VOICE
"Those things, which ye have both learned,  and received, and HEARD, and SEEN in me, DO: and the God of peace shall be with you." Phil.4:9
During the undergraduate days, I remember we joke with a particular statement when any of our mates dictates the notes for us to write and he is not speaking up. We shout "We cannot see your voice o".
This I think should be deployed for many of us in the church today.
The early believers admonish younger believers "do whatever you not only hear me say but also have seen me do". Even Jesus in Acts 1 was said to do before teaching.
O Comrade, can we as believers of old also say to younger believers and unbelievers around us "Do whatever I say and do" and we will be sure they will be pleasing to the Lord?
O Comrade, in this world and among other believers, let them not only hear our voice but let them also see them practiced through us. This is the basis for discipleship.
