THE ONE GOAL

THE ONE GOAL
"For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren" Rom. 8:29
From the very beginning of the plan to save man, there is only one goal in the heart of Jehovah God - that everyone might be exactly like His Son.
As at John 3:16, Jesus was the ONLY begotten Son of God but after the Spirit that made Jesus Son came upon us, He became the first born and we became His brothers and sisters (brethren), for the presence of the Holy Spirit in us conforms us back into the image and the likeness of God as it was in the beginning before the fall Gen. 1:26.
What O comrade do you think the Holy Spirit was given to you for? To just speak in tongues or to do miracles? To heal or to do deliverance? To be rich financially or to be able to conquer your enemies? Though with the presence of the Holy Spirit all these should be evident but the ONE GOAL in the heart of Jehovah God is that we should all be like Him. As you go to bed each day, try asking yourself, in all I did today, whom did I resemble?
