OUR COMMON PURPOSE

"This letter is from Paul, a slave of God and an apostle of Jesus Christ. I have been sent to proclaim faith to those God has chosen and to teach them to know the truth that shows them how to live godly lives." Titus 1:1 NLT
Every believer, like brother Paul has a mandate; to proclaim the faith to those whom God has chosen as as well teach them the truth that leads to godly living.
If the sole reason why God got you saved is to go to heaven, you should have slumped and died the day you gave your life to Christ (that is if there's anyone alive to preach salvation in Christ to you).
"I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil." John 17:15
Why do you think Jesus prayed this prayer?
Jesus must rule the world not by the hands of angels but humans. That is the only time His prayer and the original purpose in God's heart "thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven" can ever come to pass.
God's kingdom can be expressed not through those who only believe but those who live godly lives also.
O comrade, are you fulfilling purpose at all? How much of godliness have you been utilizing God's grace to express? Can new believers learn godliness from you?
If you think you have failed thus far, don't stay there regretting. If you regret wasting grace over time, it is good. But don't let the enemy of your soul trap you down there. Rather, let this godly sorrow birth genuine repentance in you.
Rise to fulfill purpose and it shall be well with you.
May we not live lives that will stagnate the advancement of God's kingdom.
